THEATRE
The trouble with a civilized room is everything left unsaid.
I write plays about memory, power, ambition, and the extraordinary lengths to which people will go to preserve their possessions, their reputations, and their preferred versions of history.
Comedy has its uses in such circumstances. It can make an uncomfortable truth rather more difficult to avoid.
FEATURED PLAY

Moments in Spring
Dark comedy with music | Completed
A Jewish family confronts an inheritance of memory, grief, and unresolved history in a theatrical world where the past refuses to remain politely in the past.
Unfolding as a puzzle of recollections, revelations, music, and sharply drawn humor, Moments in Spring examines antisemitism, the distortions of historical memory, and the moral demands of allyship.
Music becomes both witness and participant, carrying the voices of inheritance, loss, resistance, and survival.
At its heart lies an unsettling question: how do we honor the past without becoming prisoners of it?
The script and pitch deck are available to producers, directors, and theatrical collaborators upon request.
IN DEVELOPMENT
Collectors Cabaret
A Jazz Age Chamber Comedy
Long Island’s East End, during the extravagant 1920s.
In a grand country house, collectors, dealers, artists, advisers, and an assortment of exquisitely ambitious opportunists gather in a world where taste is currency, connoisseurship is seduction, and appearances are very nearly everything.
Amid jazz, champagne, and carefully disguised indiscretions, art becomes both an object of desire and a weapon of social advancement. Fortunes, reputations, and affections are negotiated with impeccable manners and frequently deplorable intentions.
Everyone is collecting something.
The question, naturally, is who possesses whom.
OTHER WORKS FOR THE STAGE
Mayfair 1931
A Period Drama | London, 1931
In the elegant rooms of a London antiques-dealer family, a rare work of Persian art becomes the focus of a contest involving scholarship, desire, money, and imperial ambition.
As questions of ownership and cultural prestige threaten the family’s carefully cultivated position, civility becomes a weapon, and chamber music gives voice to tensions that cannot safely be spoken.
Ferdowsi
A Historical Drama | Tehran, Late 1920s
In a glittering society of poets, politicians, and cultural power brokers, the struggle over art, national identity, and historical legacy becomes an intensely personal contest.
Amid wit, intrigue, and carefully staged social rituals, Ferdowsi explores the uses of culture as an instrument of power, and the price of deciding who has the authority to define a nation’s memory.
